Clara Leonardi

Nací en Como, Italia, en 1992 y me crié en un pequeño pueblo en medio de la naturaleza. Dibujo desde que tengo memoria. Las escuelas de arte fueron una elección ineludible para mí, desde el bachillerato hasta la carrera de ilustración y animación en el IED de Milán, donde descubrí el mundo de la ilustración y empecé a amar los libros ilustrados. Luego encontré un trabajo en una agencia de diseño de packaging en Milán, donde descubrí que también disfruto de la ilustración hiperrealista y el diseño de personajes. Pero eso no era suficiente para mí, y Milán era demasiado, así que volví a mi pequeño pueblo cerca del lago de Como y me uní a un máster en ilustración editorial. Ahora me estoy centrando más en eso y sobre todo en libros infantiles, mientras sigo colaborando con la agencia de packaging.

I was born in Como in 1992 and raised in a small village in the nature. Drawing since I have memories, arts schools were an unavoidable choice for me, from high school to the illustration and animation degree at IED in Milano, where I discovered the illustration world and I started loving picture books. Then I found a job in a packaging design agency in Milano, where I found that I enjoy hyperrealistic illustration and character design too. But that was not enough for me, and Milano was too much, so I moved back to my small village close to Como lake and I joined a master in editorial illustration. Now I’m focusing more on that and especially children books, while I’m still collaborating with the packaging agency.
